Speed through the picturesque landscape of the Eastern Mediterranean on this vibrant jeep tour combining culture, nature, sea, and sun into one exciting day. Departing from the lively seaside town of Kas, we’ll head up to Saklıkent Gorge.
Leaving at 09:00 from just in front of the tour office, you’ll meet your guide before heading out on our jeeps for a scenic, hour-long voyage towards the village of Uzumlu. Seeing the traditional architecture and friendly faces of the locals, here you’ll get the chance to experience the feeling of authentic Turkish village culture. We’ll have a break for some tea and snacks before hopping back on the jeeps.
The fun continues, winding our way towards Saklikent, where we’ll start with a tranquil hike to the flowing waters of the Gizlikent Waterfall, before continuing with another walk up, through the water of the Saklikent Gorge, one of the longest canyons in Turkey. After body-surfing back to the entrance, we’ll enjoy a well-deserved buffet lunch near the gorge’s cool, refreshing waters.
Around 15:00, it’s time to enjoy endless sands of the 16 km long Patara Beach. You can play in the waves, relax in the Mediterranean sunshine, or visit the ruins of the ancient city of Patara. On the trip back to Kas, we’ll make one more stop at the scenic Kaputas Beach for possibly the best pictures you’ll take all day, a swim in the clear, turquoise waters, and some local fruit provided by the crew. We’ll return to Kas around 19:30, at the same time tired and invigorated by our action-packed day.
